As part of Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project, Dr Mary McMillan of UNE will be hosting a 24 hours of reality event at NERAM next Thursday. It will be a forward-looking discussion about how, with action, we can change the outlook for our climate and environment. The centrepiece will be a collaborative art project that the community contributed to during the Black Gully Festival last weekend, which will be completed and on display next Thursday.
The Climate Reality Project has partnered with One Tree Planted (https://onetreeplanted.org/) to plant a tree for each attendee at one of these events.
